Pharmacology
The Department of Pharmacology is dedicated to provide expert training to undergraduate students. Our experienced faculty ensures that every student is adequately trained with Individualised attention and support. This is being aided by the well-designed and functional infrastructure of our Department
Services provided
- Computer Assisted Learning - where students are effectively trained with animal simulation models
- Clinical Pharmacology - where students perform various injection techniques on Simulation models for Routes of Drug administration and the assessed periodically by trained faculty. They are also trained to be ethical, to communicate well, and be responsible to patients and the community
- Institutional Ethics Committee - where research proposals are periodically assessed by Ethics committee members with expertise in Good clinical practice
- Pharmacovigilance - Causality assessment of Adverse drug reactions reported from various departments is performed by trained faculty and regularly uploaded to Vigiflow. Undergraduate students are also being trained to fill the ADR forms and to perform Causality assessment.
Mission
Our mission is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of Pharmacology with student-centered approach and to empower curiosity in students to perform academics related research
Vision
Our vision is to empower undergraduate students with a deep understanding of Pharmacology enabling them to become compassionate healthcare professionals and researchers
